Hi, I'm Anne Gregory and I am a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Association For Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AFSFH).
I undertook my training with the prestigious Clifton Practice and qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist in 2013.
I hold the Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DHP).
I have worked with people in a variey of care settings: as a qualified nursery nurse; as an advocate for vulnerable women and children in a refuge and supporting adults with learning disabilities in the community. I believe these experiences have helped me develop a greater empathy for people and a strong desire to help them build the best life they can.
If you decide to work with me, here's what to expect in the first session.
Firstly, we will discuss the things you want to change and identify your goals.
It's important to identify these at the start so we know we are getting the results you want.
I will explore a little about any general health issues you may have and find out what your sleep patterns are like. This helps to give me a broader picture so I can help you better.
I will also explain, using a basic diagram, how the brain works; how we can suffer in the way that we do and what we can do to change it. You are encouraged to ask questions at any time, as I want to ensure I explain things to you clearly and concisely.
We will end the session with some hypnotherapy, so you feel relaxed and calm when you leave. Hypnotherapy is a very enjoyable experience, which works on changing our thoughts, actions and behaviours on a subconscious level, to bring about lasting change. I will give you a sound file to listen to in-between the sessions, to consolidate the work we've done.
